Askew Road Arts Festival 2026
17th - 25th September 2026
Many thank for all those that came to an event, and many thanks for all the curators, artists and volunteers who made the Arts Festival 2026 such a success! We are now doing the accounts, doing the data and will publish our Impact Report when its ready (that’s after a little rest!).
If children are our future…
The Askew Road Arts Festival brings together artists and children to explore the idea that the future will one day be shaped by those who are growing up now. Through artworks, collaborations, and interventions across galleries, streets, and community spaces, the festival asks how children experience the present, what values we pass on to them, and how their voices might help us reimagine what comes next. Rooted in the local area but outward-looking in its concerns, the festival treats children not as symbols of the future, but as active participants in shaping it.
